how can i decide what's right? || CHAELA!! « Thread Started on Oct 6, 2008, 5:59pm »
Having an entire dorm to yourself wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Honestly? It was boring. Jared knew that his own roommates just hadn't arrived yet and that was fine by him. He just wasn't going to be alone until they came along. Grabbing his blackberry from his pocket he searched through his contacts until he found a familiar name. Chaela! That was the name he had put. He opened up a new message and quickly texted her. Chaela was one of his closest friends, he wasn't very fond of spending too much time apart.
you! you're meeting me! i don't care if you're stark naked! i'm borrred! :) Jared smiled at what he wrote so far, so meet me at the fountain? i need some change so let's go collect money from it. He pressed send and got up from his bed. Five people a dorm meant very big rooms. That was something he was pleased about. Living in New York meant small, overpriced apartments. He walked to his suitcase that he hadn't bothered yet to unpack and grabbed a pair of jeans and white button up shirt. Sure he was fully dressed already, but this was Chaela. Or did we not discuss that? Compared to Chaela no other girl deserved to see him looking fantastic all the time without trying too hard all the time. A bit self-centered? Just a bit, but he wasn't flaunting himself out there all the time.
When he finished changing he grabbed his dorm key and walked out the door, locking it behind him. It didn't take him long to reach the fountain area. Now all he really had to do was wait. And for Chaela, he'd wait as long as he possibly could.

* chaela ryan !
there you see her; sitting there across the way. she don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her. and you don't know why, but you're dying to try; you wanna k i s s t h e g i r l .

chaela groaned. morning were not her thing. she hated mornings with a passion; it just meant that she had to get up and go to learn, all over again. yeah, she'd tried for months to get into this school, but she didn't half wish that there wasn't quite so much homework. homework was one of the things that chaela hated doing. why did that call it homework anyway? it wasn't like they could actually go home to do it . . . they all either did their work in the lesson, in the guided study room or in the dorms, where everyone just drank vodka and copied each other. or was that just her dorm? chaela had only been in one dorm her entire life, so she couldn't cross reference or compare or whatever the hell she was meant to do. she buried her head into her pillow and tried to figure out why she'd woken up; she'd gone to bed at four am, thanks to hannah's practically forcefeeding the the alcohol. chaela was one of the biggest lightweights around, if she was honest. hearing a buzzing, chaela slapped her hand around her bedside table, trying to make the noise shut up. all noise was banned today.
grabbing her phone, chaela rolled over and rubbed her eyes. she and alcohol did not mix, but hannah seemed to find it amusing, and chaela actually quite liked not having a clue what the hell happened the night before. bit of a stupid thing to like, but then again, chaela was a bit stupid. accepting the text, chaela smiled when she saw that it was jared, but then the smile was wiped off her face when she saw the time. twenty past nine? chaela had had less than six hours sleep. she was going to be bloody wonderful today. jared was her best friend and everything, but since when did he think that her 'no communication with me before twelve pm' rule didn't apply to him? even her sister wasn't allowed to text her until after two.
hitting the reply button, chaela rolled her eyes. she didn't get to see jared as much as she'd have liked these days; she was starting to miss him. then he'd annoy her again and chaela would start to wish that she were somewhere else. that didn't happen a lot though; only when chaela was in one hell of a mood and hated everyone. 'yes, fine. though i'm not naked; i'm in my pyjamas. sorry to disappoint. x' she typed, pressing send and slipping out of her bed. the heating wasn't working again. bloody brilliant. hopping into the shower, chaela shivered as the hot water failed to appear. bloody dorms; chaela was always the last one in the shower and then it was far too cold for her to get clean.
"right. i'm here. what do you want?
" she said ten minutes later, throwing herself at jared. even if he did annoy her on occasion, she still couldn't go for long without seeing him. she grinned, and blew her blonde hair out of her face. she hated that it never did what she wanted; if she'd had the time she would have straightened it properly, but she didn't think that jared would have wanted to wait the extra hour it would have taken her. she let go and scratched her arm absent-mindedly, wishing she'd brought a jacket with her. she was wearing her trademark skinnies and high heels, which was pretty much what chaela wore all the time. she'd forgotten home many pairs of skinny jeans she owned. "how're you? i haven't seen you in . . . god knows."

"right. i'm here. what do you want?" Jared turned to Chaela as she threw herself at him. He hugged her lightly and patted her head softly.
"Did my text not explain well enough?" He asked. "I was bored. And if that means ruining your sleep after not having seen you in a couple of days, then so be it!" He laughed at her. If she really wasn't in the mood to see her, he'd let her go do... what it was that Chaela did around nine-thirty in the morning. He pulled away from her and sat on the fountain ledge. He questioned if she would actually push him in, but he'd take risk.
"how're you? i haven't seen you in . . . god knows." She said.
"I'm good... I just have an empty dorm. What... fun." He said sarcastically. "It's so boring in there... So quiet, ugh." To Chaela, it should be common knowledge that Jared wasn't too fond of quiet places. They made him feel as if he had to be quiet as well.
