Jordyn sat in the library, her nose stuck in a book. Her chocolate brown hair hung down, resting just past her shoulders. Gently she bit her lower lip and continued to read her book. It was one thing that she loved to do. No matter where Jordyn went you could always find a book in her hands or in her bag. It was one thing she never left her house without. Just like she never went anywhere without her phone.
Brushing a strand of hair out of her face, Jordyn turned the page of her book and continued to read. Leaning back in the chair, she crossed her ankles and just relaxed. The library was one of those places she liked to come to because it was quiet and she was able to focus. Looking up, she looked around the room and then back down at her book.

Shay frowned when she found herself in the library, this is not where she wanted to be. She looked around the place, her green eyes scanning for anyone who would help her. She spotted a girl sitting alone with her face staring intently at the page. Shay contemplated a moment watching the girl flip a few pages before she walked over and sat down next to her. "Hey," She said softly. She glanced at the girl from under mascara and eyeliner laden eyes.
Shay studied the girl. She had long brown hair and she looked like the book kind. She smiled sweetly down on her wondering if this girl was friendly or not. She hadn't really talked to anyone yet, so she was just waiting to see who the rude kids were. She tilted her head to the side a bit as she waited for the girl to look up.
Jordyn lifted her head as she heard someone talk to her. Giving a small smile, she looked up at her. "Hello." Jordyn said, trying to be quiet since they were in the library. Adjusting in the chair a little, she got comfortable and looked back down at her book and turned the page. She wanted to say something more than hi but couldn't think of much.
"I'm Jordyn." She finally said after a few minutes. Looking away from her book now and over at the girl. She seemed nice but Jordyn had been wrong before. She thought that they were nice and found out after a little while that they were just rude and completely competitive.

Shay glanced down from beneath her lashes, and gave her signature half smile. "Shay..." She stated after taking in the girls name. "I really hate to bother you, but i'm a little lost. I'm new here and I don't remember how to get back to the auditorium." She told her with a slight smile. She didn't mean to get lost, she had taken a wrong turn somewhere, but she didn't remember where.

"No..its okay." Jordyn said and moved, pulling a map out of her bag. Everyone got one at the beginning of the year, whether they were new or not. Jordyn never used her's anymore. Being a senior, she knew were everything was by now.
"This is the auditorium here." Jordyn said and pointed it out. Pulling out a highlighter, she put an X through it. "And we are right here." Jordyn said, making another X at the library in a different color. "You really aren't all that far away from it. If you follow this path you can get there in no time." Jordyn said and smiled. "If you can't, go to the main office which is here or call me. I'll come and help." Jordyn said as she wrote her number down and then handed the sheet over.
